Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University turns 90 years old this year. I created the 90 year branding for this milestone.
Kendall College of Art and Design’s 2018 Commencement theme is the word INFLUENCE. I created a brand for the Commencement this year to reflect the meaning of the word influence.
The design represents the positive radiating effect that KCAD has had and will have on art and design for the last 90 years and the effect it will have on the future. The crossing lines represent the multitude of connections and influences that are made here, and the ripple effect represents the special kind of energy the college projects. The careful accumulation of the letters in the word influence resembles how we all influence, build, and grow with one another. The letter “U” is crafted in the center to focus on the individual and their surrounding influences.

The Jump Off is a curated group show that celebrates 40 years of experimentation and growth, presenting artists' newest works and revealing process and/or development with the piece or pieces that served as the specific turning point; catalyzing the spark for their new work’s visual, material, or conceptual content.
